I grew up in a small, close knit rural community in cental Ontario which showed me the value and importance of investing in and raising eachother up. I have taken these lessons and incorporated them into Leaf and Root's business model and core values.
Our gift boxes will always showcase only Canadian made items - with special attention to environmentally aware businesses.
Although I still sew planters myself, I can't keep up with it all! I work with local sewists to complete large orders. This is a conscious decision to keep money local and in the hands of individuals who need it!
All of our outsourced work (such as printing and marketing) is done with Canadian companies
